The care of your loved ones is as important to us as it is to you. Caring Matters only hires individuals who believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, warmth, kindness, care, and respect.
All of our caregivers are carefully screened during the interview process. A full criminal background check and child abuse clearance is obtained. Each caregiver is drug tested prior to hiring and is subject to frequent, random drug testing on an ongoing basis.
We require our professional caregivers to have 2 years of paid experience and 2 favorable references. A recent clean driving report is also required. All caregivers must pass a comprehensive test before being hired, attend a training session that reviews basic care upon acceptance of their employment, and several times during the year participate in refresh training sessions.
All Caring Matters caregivers will have Caring Matters name badges identifying them as the approved personnel and will log in and out of the individual’s home to ensure care is being received in a timely and reliable manner.
